They've recently started car shows in pet parking lots around here, I hate it. I would much prefer it in a movie theater parking lot. What is your favorite spot?

Most of the ones I go to are at exhibition centers and so on. There has been some here on the side of a main road by I haven't been to that one yet. As long as there is good parking I'm fine with most locations. If I had to pick a spot it would be right on the waterfront. :D

Around here a lot of people with old cars go to the chicken burger. I forget what night of the week they go but they show up there and hang out. The place has been around forever and I guess its kinda tradition to go there every week when the weather is good for a big group of people.

There is a car show in the HEB (grocery store) parking lot here... it's mostly older cars with not a whole lot under the hood, just a nice exterior. I won't even go to those. If they would have the car shows in a parking lot that is bigger (like a movie theater parking lot), a lot more people would go, and there would be room for the nicer cars.

There are a number of local classic car shows that roll out in the parking lots of grocery stores nearby to me. I make a point of catching any Mustang show that rolls through town. Honestly, though, (and I know this is cliche) I love the yearly auto expo event that they have in Chicago . I've been going since I could walk, and it's a nice tradition for me to go every year.

My favorite spot for hosting car shows is in Elvington York. It has a great drag-strip and when car shows are hosted there they usually have a handling circuit there too. I also love the atmosphere and the smell of burning rubber.

My favorite has always been the car show in NY at the Javitz Center. They also have a sweet boat show, but the car show is really world class.
