Hello, my name is Stacy and I always loved helping my friends work on cars...I know, I'm a girl (LOL) I don't care about getting my hands dirty. That's why there is soap ;)

I have a 6yr old son and he loves NASCAR. This mommy learned so much about NASCAR in the past two years. Now he is getting older and in the Cub Scouts, This mom needs to learn more. Our first project is a Pinewood derby car...In the summer is the Soap Box car...I can't wait :)

The pine box is not until March and the soap box is in the summer. I have a lot to learn. A Box car tread is not a bad idea.

That is awesome your daughter loves to help. Have her help as much as possible than she will be one of the only girls who knows have to put oil or gas in the car. LOL

Hey there Stacy welcome to the forum! We don't have that tradition here in my country of building those cars, it's a shame because I think kids love that sort of thing.
