I do have a Hotmail account though I'm not sure if it's even there any more, since I haven't used it in so long. I created an account since some of my other friends had, but the general layout always got on my nerves so I eventually stopped using it. I prefer either Yahoo or Gmail.

I just logged in to my Hotmail account today using a pc and I examined the changes, since the last time I did, I just used my mobile phone to log in there. I do not like it now as well. The main inbox page seems enlarged as compared to the former design. The former design was way much better. I guess they want to imitate Google and Yahoo because both have changed the way their email layout looks as well.

I have a Gmail account. I might try Outlook one day.

I had a hotmail account four years ago. I was quite fed up with their looks and service. I think these days very few people use hotmail email account. Gmail and Yahoo are way ahead of hotmail.

Have to agree with "Flexin". I used to have a hotmail account but since the new change to outlook I quickly changed over to gmail. I've always had gmail but my first email account was with hotmail, it was sad to close it down, but it was just to much of a hassle to use.

YES, What in the world were they thinking? It's horrible. I actually haven't logged into my hotmail boxes in like 3 months. I don't remember my password anymore so I have to use support to get access I think at this point. I've switched over to gmail mostly. It's pretty quick and easy.

I have used a Hotmail account since 1998 and seen the ups and downs. The transition to Outlook.com has really sucked though. I thought if I gave it enough time I'd like it, but nope. I do use Gmail and Yahoo too. They all have their quirks, I guess.

I don't like it but I won't close it. I had it too long. Plus the emails go to my BlackBerry so I don't have to look at it as much.

I have 2 Hotmail accounts, and the other 1 I forgot the password. Now after contacting support I still wasn't given a chance to change my password, because the personal info that I provided wasn't enough for them. Update us if you were successful in recovering your Hotmail account.
