Yeah, I often think that if I had a lot cash I'd not wait at all to get my tests done. I'd find the best surgeon to do my surgery if I had the money, that's for sure :) Celebs are so lucky!

The truth is that money in fact doesn't bring happiness, so regardless of whether we have lots or none we can't buy them. Even rich people can be miserable. ;)

I have heard that a lot time, but I believe money can really make your life easier, and that can definitely make you happy ;) I have yet to see a person who is in big dept and has health issues who can honestly say they are happy. I really think money can make your life easier, can't buy happiness, but it's the closest someone will ever get to ''buying'' happiness. We need to be happy with what we have :) I always say that as long as I'm healthy all is ok.

Yeah, money absolutely has the potential to bring you happiness. I've never understood the argument that money doesn't make you happy. Sure, money can be the source of a lot of problems, but it can also solve a lot of other problems.

That's true, it can make our life easier, but experience has shown me that the more we have the more we spend, so it's not so easy to say. Sure, I'd love to have some extra cash, but I don't think about it and I just live with what I have.

Same here, just live with what I have. Plus it seems the more people has... the more they want! I know of a lot rich folks that just want to make more and more money! Like all the money they have now is just not enough for them , you know?

That happens a lot, it's called greed and that is why our world is in it's current condition, we care just to have more and more and don't look to those who have nothing.

It would be a good question to ask to those that in fact have the 2 million, what do they do with so much money?

Somewhat off topic, but you always hear about people winning the lottery and taking the lump sum for some XYZ amount of millions. What do they do with all that money? You can't put it all in one account, the FDIC only insures a set amount per account. Do you open up 600 bank accounts? How is this done?

I'd rather take the lump sum too than stretch out payments for a period of years. I think they spend the majority of it buying a big house, yachts and cars. They may even pay off debts and invest sum so I doubt they'd need to open 600 bank accounts.

I think that from the moment they earn such an amount they stop caring about how much money they have and more where they will spend it, at least I would. :)

I would put a bid on one of the top earning websites on the net. That way I would have income coming in long after the 2 million was spent. Although I don't have 2 million now I am investing in a website for hopes of a future payoff.

Sadly a lot of that prize is taken by the gov in shape of a tax. Yup, I win a somewhat big prize in the past and they took a big chunk of my prize. Not cool at all. The bigger the prize the more they will take from you.

Spend two mil in a day, and I couldn't save any of it?? What a wonderful challenge to have:).

Spending two million would be easy for me. Buy myself, my son, my mom,
my dad, and a few other people some houses and cars, and that money would be gone.

I would also invest in some worthwhile companies and causes,
but that would take research and more than one day to accomplish.

I don't know. Let me borrow it and I'll tell you how it goes. lol But seriously, I would pay off all my bills, give a good amount to charity, buy a house for myself and another one for my family, and then save the rest.

2 million it's such an unimaginable amount, I don't have a clue really, but if I really had to spend it I would do my best efforts and most likely I'd buy properties so in that way I would have made a wise investment that I could recover with profit.

I actually don't think that I would spend it really, I would save a lot of it for college, get the necessary things I need at that moment in time, and then the rest in a bank account to college interest.

If I had one day to spend 2 million dollars, I would buy land in my favorite places around the world, then I would build small affordable homes on each piece of land. I would love to have multiple homes around the world to visit through out the year. I would much rather have multiple, comfortable homes than one large one.

Yep, buying places would be good, on the other hand I might just look for a time machine so that I could use that money indefinitely... :jimlad:

I'm not saying that I'd spend it all on gummy snakes, and convincing Lucozade to bring back Citrus Clear.

I am however saying that that would buy me a lot of gummy snakes and Citrus Clear Lucozade.
