I know he is busy on his career as a tv actor and a politician but as far as his official next fight I do not really have idea, but a lot of people are still wishing that his big next fight would be with Floyd Mayweather, if that would happen, well that is a next question.

After his knock out the MayWeather fight isn't even on the radar. Manny has to have a big win or two to show he still has it to sell the fight. Many would watch it anyway but he needs to win to make it as big as it could be.

Agree. He really needs to make it big time this time or else it would be hard for him to get back on track like it was before. About Mayweather dream fight, I think this will always be a wish of the majority fans out there, although in a common sense that seems hard to put in a real boxing real, but like what you have said, if that would happen, surely will still be watched!

After watching Pacquiao get ktfo I don't think he'll beat Mayweather. He is in top form right now.

Well, according to his interviews the last fight resulted like that because this time he lost his focus on trainings and preparations, well, that is no wonder , he is doing a lot of things at a time, like showbiz, politics, business and boxing. So the experts say, he absolutely need to go back on focus in boxing, after all, this is where he is really good at. So yeah, probably he is still get the chance to win the fight against Mayweather if ever that would happen. But he really needs to work hard for that, that's for sure!

He has been doing that for years. They had to get him to stop partying, he was/is into politics and so on. He has a busy life. He and his camp failed if they let that get to him in that fight. He dealt with it before. He has to show he has it to make that fight a mega fight.

I believe Mayweather will win that fight if it happens.

I hope so. He is one of my favorite fighters to watch. He has always been very good in the ring and put on some great performances.

Who you hope so to win? Manny or Mayweather? Personally, I am fan of Manny since then, so I still keep my finger crossed for his win :) But for now we can only speculate until the probable actual fight if it is even possible. But I would say this, whatever happens, Manny will always be the winner for me ;)

On a personal level i would like to see Manny defeat Floyd. But i have to give Mayweather credit for being a great fighter. Nobody has defeated him yet. I wish this fight but i do not think it will.

Mayweather signed a 6 fight deal I believe. I think he has 4 left. At that point I think he wants to retire. I believe that is one fight he wants, if Manny can show that he still has it. Floyd wants to show he is the best and I don't feel that he if afraid of anyone. He has went against some tough guys. At the end of the day he is a business man and is going to work for the best deal possible. If the deal isn't right he isn't going to cave in much. He can find other fights.

Well, I do hope for that as well, but I hope if Manny would say yes again, Mayweather would not ask for any condition again like he did last time, asking Manny to do a drug test before the agreement on fighting against him. And I think Manny would never be scared too if this fight would be put in ring. And yes, boxing is not just about boxing itself but business and Manny and his men really know how to handle that too.

I think the drug test is a legitimate request.

Well, generally there is actually no standard rules for drug test in boxing. As far as I know, usually fighters do not require to do such test before the fight.

Yes there is. They test you right after the fight. What Mayweather wanted was Olympic style testing. They test you twice st random times. He said he wants to improve the image of the sport.

I never heard about it, all I know is that you will go test after the fight to check your injuries but not to do drug test, there are a lot of boxers who fight without doing that test. Well, I do not say that it is a bad idea if there will be a new requirement like that to improve the boxing criteria, if it will be for good then why not.

I think it's most organizations that will of a drug test after a fight. The problem is some people use then do things to test on. Happens in a lot of sports. The Olympic testing makes that harder.

Other fighters have agreed to that to fight Mayweather but Manny wouldn't.

Yes, he did not agree with it and I think won't agree if ever he would be asked again. His reason is he just simply does not like to question his capabilitiy of clean living by asking him to do test drug before the fight. Well, honestly I do not totally understand it clear as well why that is really a big deal for him, but as regard to his culture, I can somehow understand already.

He said getting tested a week before the fight would take too much out of him. Many many athletes do that type of testing. If both do it then what is the issue?

He is making himself look bad in the eyes of many.
