What are your thoughts about the new season that has started a while ago? Are you following the races? The last couple of years I'm following it more and more. I find there is more competition and more action going on as well. Last year we saw a lot of different drivers winning races, which I think is great for the sport. I hope this season is going to be exciting until the last race. That would be nice :)

I have been away from cars and car races for awhile, despite I was truly excited about speed through my teen years.

Didn't know about new Formula 1 season though, but I will check it out because if I joined this forum is because I want to get back in those old automotive hobbies that I had in the past :)

I don't follow it with any great regularity, but I am always happy to catch a race when I can.

With 7 races to go, a lot is still possible. What I find interesting is the 3rd place for Kimi Raïkkonen, who returned to F1 after some years in Rally.
I hope the current numbers 2-4/5 can fight back and make it exciting until the last races.

Interesting listing because I can see many of my favorites for long time before time became my major constraint to follow the races with regularity.

But just bringing to mind these memories made me feel the adrenaline I used to feel then.

It's definitely interesting this year. Kimi Räikkönen currently holds the 3rd position but is the only one in the top 6 that did not win a GP yet this season. However, he's scoring points consistently so maybe it can still come. Alonso is looking strong this season, let's see who can come closer to the number 1 position.

I'm actually rooting for Force India, but it looks like this year will be another win for Alonso. I guess he deserves it, he is a very talented driver. Probably will end up being the next Schumacher (I guess that's why Ferrari snatched him since they had the same feeling).

I think Vettel has a pretty good chance too. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Kimi has a shot, but Alonso might win it. F1 this year has been really gripping. I've been on the edge of my seat!

Everytime i see Michael Shumacher racing nowadays, i wanna let out a small tear. The guy was like my childhood hero, and now he's ruining it.
Is he doing it for the money or what? I can't understand why one of the biggest names in formula 1 ever, wanna race again for a mediocre team
