Our Fiat Punto Braking Pads

    I think the correct name is braking pads. Look how one of them was, when we changed them at home last morning. Bare in mind it's been driving and braking metal with metal for over 2 thousand kilometers, the disk is in terrible state but we haven't changed them since the car will most likely be dumped in a scrapyard soon.

    Is that caliper sticking? There is a lot of braking material left on the other pads so it would seem like a caliper is sticking, causing it to rub. Or it could have just failed and sepperated from the backing plate. If your still driving the car I would put some pads on it. It is not work taking the risk of driving with a missing brake pad. Around here you can get cheap pads for about $40. Even if your junking the car in a few months.
