I wish you all the best of luck. I am crazy about BMW bikes! You lucky person. Do you get to have one to ride around since you work for the company?

I'd assume so. I'm buying a BMW M6 within the next few months which is how I found out about the job. Can't wait for that.

    Hehe. Thank you! :)

Nice man! Congratulation on the new job, BMW tech seems like a big step up from apple....you are going to be working with some awesome cars for sure!! Got to admit though, Apple store seems like a cool job, lot of cool gadgets to play around with.

Gets very boring. Same shit, different day. Tired of hearing about peoples problems where all they had to do was turn something off etc.

Aha, sorry for the lack of update James! I have been pretty busy recently.

As for the job, I'm loving it! It's great. My favorite part is it is only a 3 minute commute to work :D. BMW's for EVERYONE! YAY!

    Nice. Good to hear.

If your treating I will take a M3 in Interlagos Blue. Thanks.

3 minute commute is sweet. People waste a lot of time every week just traveling to work.

Congrats on your new job! By the way, I was just wondering why does Apple have to hire Samsung to make the screens for their iPad? Is Apple not capable of producing their own touch screens? Just wondering.

I'm guessing it lowers the production costs, or Samsung has a patent over a technology which they need (specially the Retina Display)..

Ah I see, yeah that could be the cause. But they sued Samsung because they claim that Samsung is imitating the iPad, so that's a weird working relationship. Currently, Samsung still supplies the touch screens for Apple even if they got sued. Apple claims that other brands didn't pass their quality standards, and only Samsung has meet their standards.

Exactly. And that's the reason why some manufacturers in China are releasing their own versions of iPhones and iPads, because they were the first ones to be rejected by Apple.. so, they sell the rejected versions..

Ah I see, but are they being sold as an new, unknown brand or a knock off of the original brand? Other popular brands like Sharp surprisingly failed the test, so I guess that Samsung currently has the best touch screens in the market.
