    This is going to be a monthly contest.

    What can you win?
    • Gearhead Central virtual money.
    How much?
    1. $200
    2. $100
    3. $50
    How do you win it?

    • Be on of the top three contributors for the month. You can see the stats for last month and the current month by clicking on members (on the top bar) and then top contributors. Or you can click this link. http://gearheadcentral.com/index.php?top-users/158
    • The top contributors add on looks at posts and likes.
    Is this real money?

    • The money is virtual. It has no cash value.
    What can I use if for?

    • It can be used in our Sportsbook.
    • It can also be used for bragging rights.
    • We will also have other forum features that will be able to be purchased with the virtual money. At a later date there will be a VIP membership that will offer some extra feature but that will be a paid user group (regular membership will always be free). You will also be able use virtual money to buy into that user group.
    When does it start?

    • The contest starts with now and will use the two months which are currently showing which is February and March 2013.
    *I (Flexin) don't count in this contest. So if I'm first, then 2nd place is first as far as the contest goes. The Gearhead Central account is a RSS feeder account so that also doesn't count.

    You still did well. I just decided to put up the ribbons. That was one of the ideas of using that add on when I installed it. I kinda forgot about it. So that is something I will do with it.

    I'm debating on putting up a ribbon for 1st 2nd and 3rd spot for the Top contributor contest. What does everyone think of that?

    I believe this is such a great way of encouraging contribution for the site, and I like the fact that you have made the money not to have value ass such because if the cash being won was real money;I assure you guys would have done everything in their power to win - including spamming. :blackalien:

    Thanks. Yeah with a big prize you do have to watch out for spamming. This is just virtual money but it will have some kind of value. There will be more coming down the line for the forum money. :)
