If you could own any car in the world what would it be? Would it be a family car or a sport car? What brand name would you drive and why?

I would probably want a huge, beefy monster of a truck for the Winter, but, for the Summer, a classic Plymouth Prowler would be wonderful.

Well I could have three or four of the less exotic ones for the price of one
Ferrari or Maserati. And I actually would not want that flash.
Maybe something like a nicely equipped Jeep. Or maybe the Ford Raptor. I gotta say it is a pretty interesting looking truck. But they are charging big for it. Real world I would go the jeep or a Ford 150 and pick options but probably not the Raptor package.
Just need that winning lottery ticket and the Jeep and that new Goldwing model would be getting seriously looked at. And yeah I could do both and still have a lot of change vs the price of a Maserati.

That is a great question, I would definitely get a Maserati and everything must be custom. Why because Maserati's are exclusive, beautiful and they sound amazing. When I was a little boy I always watched the races that had Maserati's in them and I said that I must have one, one day. I just hope they won't be too different from the ones that are available today when I get the chance to buy one.

I'm a Ferarri kind of guy but I am also infatuated with the Maserati as well. It would be my second choice. Let's face it I love exotic cars! I also like Lotus as well.

Well, for this question I could always go to my post about the contents of my ultimate garage or something like that (I forget what the thread was called), and see what I wrote there. Hmm, I don't want to do all that, I guess I would say that I would own a BMW, 5 Series, 4 door. I don't like 2 seaters. To me this car is a sports car.
I could reeeeeally get carried away with this question, so I'm going to just leave it at this one car.

So far in my life, I have owned a Volvo, a Ford. I currently own a BMW, and it is a workhorse, so I'm going to stick with this brand, however, both the Ford and the Volvo were great too.

Ferarri's are also amazing. I think I'm really into the old school ones though. The new ones are great but the old ones have a history to them and I like that. Lotus is cool, I like the fact that they are exclusive. Not many people drive lotus.

That's kind of the appeal of having a dream car: Having something few other people have.

We are certainly on the same page. When I think of "Ferarris" I think of "LaMans" and how many times it won races there and to this day still is.

Sometimes I wish that I was born during my parents time where cars were at their purest. Don't get me wrong cars of today's age are great but almost everyone of them is computer operated with anti-lock breaks and power steering. I think the cars of the past really show if someone can drive or not because there was no funny gadgets, just a man and his super-car.

I could not have said it better. In the cars of today if they develope a problem with the engine you have to take it a specialist who puts it on a computer to find out what the problem is. In the good old days the average guy could generally deal with almost any mechanical problem with a little help from a friend and be on the road at half the cost as it is in today's car market. Some places charge just to put a computer on the car to find out what the problem is. In the old days almost any mechanic could listen to an engine or be able to put a guage on the electrical system an determine the problem. In today's world it costs an arm and half a leg just to get it diagnosed by a computer and then you still have to pay for the parts and labor.

I love the look of a nice Corvette, they just look like they are so uncomfortable to drive.

I too liked the look. I had a friend who had one and you are correct. They are very uncomfortable not only to drive but also as a passenger too. With the seat belt on it was worse.

The "Lotus" is my second favorite auto. If I had the money like Jay Leno I too would have a warehouse full of exotic cars. I really am a car nut and crazy about fine, fast ones.

If I could own any car on the planet I want the bat-mobile. Come get some!

Since the actual bat car won't be anything like in the movie in terms of functionality I'll settle for the 1970 Dodge Charger with blown engine in the Too Fast Too Furious movie. Now that car is bad-azzzz.

Yep, I have to agree with you on that one. The Charger RT was the bomb! To this day if I see one I get still chills from the beauty of the thing. It would have to be one of the cars in my collection if I had the $$$'s

I love the look of a nice Corvette. A couple of months ago, I was in the parking lot of a grocery store, putting groceries in my car. A man pulled up right next to me in one of the cleanest Corvettes on the planet. That thing made me weak in the knees, let me tell you. I told him what a nice car he had.
I stayed and looked at that car for a long while, it kind of had me mesmerized:confused::wideeye::playful: .
