Ah yes, I remember when I was watching MTV Pimp My Ride, and West Coast Customs were the ones customizing the rides over there. I think if you go the West Coast Customs to have your car customized then you are in good hands.

I don't feel the need to stand out. even if I had the money for a Bentley or other really expensive ride, I think I would be inclined to enjoy them just as the manufacturer intended for them to be enjoyed and leave them stock. That's just my preference though. Of course, that's not to say that I wouldn't choose from a few add ons as offered by the dealer, but aftermarket stuff, probably not.

Thanks a lot Flexin! Well, if these are the sort of customisations we're talking about, I'm all in! These Bentleys are so gorgeous! I love the black one's rims. These beasts are definitely eye candies on the roads! Now if anyone is willing to sponsor me one...

These cars look very classy. I like the white one with red rims on it, it makes your car stand out, but not in a flamboyant way in public.

The little devil in me has always wanted to take a really expensive car and give it a gawdy paint job. Maybe a psychadelic/tie-dye paint job.

I don't like the red rims on that first car. To me, that's really tacky and stupid. Why would anyone take such a great looking car and diminish it like that?

I think those red rims look amazing and really suit the car im not too keen on the mirrored effect on those other rims though i prefer the red rims mor than anything.

That is the thing about customizing a car. It comes down to personal taste. If you take it off the showroom floor and drive it as is you will see cars like yours on every corner in some areas. Do a few mods and add red rims and you now stand out a bit in a crowd. Its all about making it your own. Even something as simple as a 5 star rim can be made to have so many different looks. Its the same with other styles. So you pick a style you like, then the finish, wrap it in some rubber and your ready to roll.

I suppose you're right, but it just doesn't look that great to me. I'm all about personalization, but not to the extent to where it looks out of whack. Red rims on a white car don't go together that well. You could get away with dark blue (extremely dark) but I just don't like the red for some reason.

But it doesn't look out of whack. At least to me anyway. On white you can do a lot. I can say that there is no chance I would have picked those myself, but with them on, the stance and so on, I would buy that as it sits.

I like them even more because not everyone will like them. If everyone likes them then they are too mild.

Don't take it the wrong way! I didn't say it wasn't and it probably is not. I just used that as an example.

Its ok. One thing that might look amazing to one person, could be out a whack to another. That is just life. Some people love Donks and others hate them. Some people thought it was a good idea to build the Pontiac Aztek, the buying public did not. :roflmao:

If I bought a REALLY expensive car, I would not customize it. If I wanted a car to customize, I would purchase a cheaper one, and fix it up from there.

I'd probably customize it but only by a professional with a good quality reputation that specializes in that car type. If I had the money for the car I'm sure I could afford the large amount of money to customize it, but I also think keeping cars stock is cool too.

I wouldn't customize an expensive car. I don't like to stand out, and I would like my car to be original.

By cheaper do you mean a used model of car you would want to customize or just a cheaper car. The thing is, if you have the money for a Bentley and want one, customizing a Ford Taurus (No offense to the car. I'm really liking the looks of the new one) won't cut it.

Thats understandable. In some areas you will stand out if you own an expensive car period. If your in Miami you would be just another car owner while driving the stock expensive car.

I guess I like standing out. I miss having a custom car. It was nothing crazy but I got many complements on it from people who didn't even like the model of car. I hope to get something next year that I can start to customize. When I get it I will start a build thread on here and show everything I do. From the first detail and fuilds change to what ever I can afford to do to it.

If I had US$1,121,000 to buy this, I would leave it exactly the way it looks. Any change would have been sent to the manufacturer prior to my buying it.

I love antique cars and wouldn't mind owning one. As for restoring one that would cost me a ton of money, I don't think I'd do it. With the cost of living so high, whatever I do would have to be within my budget. I wouldn't even want to do it over a lengthy time.
