I think that happens a lot, you are happy being single but you get happier when you find the right person, it's a case of not knowing what you are missing until you have it.
It's definitely good to be single, but if you do manage to be lucky to have the right person for you, it gets much better, but if it's the wrong person.... you might as well go back to being single.

Yeah, I don't think anyone likes the idea of aging completely alone, never getting married and never having children. I bet now many people out there dream of that, hehehe! But there are some people who don't like the idea of sharing their life with someone, just take a look at George Clooney. I will never understand people like that.

Aha, that's quite obvious, she wants to make a trend and say that she started it, just like that "Zombie Mondays" thing. Very typical behavior of attention-starved folks. Does she happen to be an only child? How old was she when she was doing all of that? If a person in their late 20's would do that then, it would be so unsuitable and embarrassing for their age.

I think she has a younger brother who is a drug addict and an older sister who died a few years ago. This girl my age, I guess she started doing this sort of thing since her 20's :p She was 25 back then, so maybe she started when she was 23? I thought she was so nice at first, big mistake... ! :dead::facepalm::banghead::bag::arghh:

Today is my 2 year anniversary with my girlfriend. I definitely went through a lot of rough relationships before being lucky enough to find someone I really clicked with.

Yeah, not easy to find that special one. And even when you find them you still have to keep on working on the relationship. My boyfriend was talking about that the other day, about how he will not stop being so caring even after we get married! Hah, we will see...

That's why it's VERY IMPORTANT to get to know people first before trusting them, because you really don't know what they really are inside. They might be mean people for all you know.

Yeah, it wasn't too long tho :) I found out quite fast something wasn't ok with that girl, she fooled the others, but not me. Mostly because I never played her game, that made her feel upset.

So I'm guessing that she's out of your life now right? You know what, it really is hard to find a friend that you were NEVER annoyed with. I have found only 1, but we lost touch many years ago. Almost all of them has done something that has annoyed me. Lying or being a freeloader or klepto are the most common ones. Being arrogant is cool with me though, since I get amused with their "confidence".

Yeah, completely! She tried to play her silly Facebook games with me as well, but nope, I didn't fall for that... she blocked me, but unblocked me after a while. Guess what I did? I blocked her and her ''spy''friends. I had to block them first tho... because with that kind of people you never know. I swear they seemed to be quite brain washed by her! She seemed so nice and open, next day she was different... it was like that all the time. Such a weird girl, my closest friend thinks that girl was kinda nuts.

Sorry to hear that! I hate kleptos too, I stay away from those because I don't consider them to be my friends :blackeye::banghead:

Hehe, yeah you should, but it's a sickness tough, like they steal both valuable and non-valuable things and I have a friend like that, so I just HIDE or GUARD my belongings when she's around. She's quite nice though and we get along very well.

Anyway, maybe your friend is the "Queen Bee" of her clique?

Hahaha, yeah, she must be. She is no longer my friend tho :p I'd not take her back ever again... I don't trust her at all after all the has done.

Yeah, I hear about the disease, but I was referring to the people who only steal valuables. I don't trust those! I don't believe those who only steal valuables are klepto... or maybe they are? Either way... I'd not feel having someone like that around!

I'm single but don't believe in dating just for the sake of having someone to call a boyfriend. I'd only date a guy if I was genuinely interested. However, I live a fulfilling life being single, travelling, starting my own business and dabbling in acting. :) If the right guy comes along great, if not, that's all right too.

Good for you :) I don't believe in dating for the sake of just having someone around to go out with. I was actually single for a while before getting into a relationship with my current boyfriend. It's better if you just wait to see if the right guy comes, I'm sure it will :) You lose nothing by doing this and actually live way happier, getting into a relationship just because is an awful idea.

I think it would be much easier for a klepto to steal valuables as compared to a non-klepto, but yeah, klepto's also steal valuable items. It's quite hard to have a friend like that to be honest, but if there's a "good thing" about her klepto tendencies, at least she now only targets valuable items!

Hehehehehehehe!!!! Well, now at least you know what to hide whenever she decides to show up and hang out in your place. I'd still feel a bit nervious. I can't understand how they can live knowing they do that to a friend and the friend knows it...

That's nice! Actually being in a relationship can be quite distracting. Back when I was single I was really productive, now that I'm not... well, it's even harder to find time for anything. You do good by waiting :)

Oh she has low IQ too, like she went to the same school as us, but she really does have a slow grasp of things in general. Like we have to explain her the meaning of "outlook not so good" in simple terms! And we're already 26 that time! So we tolerate her a lot more, since we assume she also doesn't know the gravity of what she does. If she was intelligent then it would be a different story, I guess.
