I noticed that most middle aged people are quite interested in politics, and they really take time to watch politics-related stuff like court hearings or news, or documentaries. They even like to debate about politicians about how good or bad they are. While me on the other hand, have no interest in it at all, and I'm already in my late 20's. So how about you? are you fond of talking about politics or politics in general? I find it really boring.

I can't stand talking about politics. Plus, politics and religion are poison to a forum. Not much good comes out of those topics. That's why I try to keep them off Gearhead Central.

Not at all. Politics bore me to death. I should probably start keeping up with politics, but I just can't get myself to start watching the news or look it up online.

I see, I so agree with you guys. I noticed that my parents and uncles seem to be interested in it, maybe it's an age thing, like once you turn 45 and up you will be more inclined toward it? I dunno.

I am way much older and I can't stand discussing politics either. I don't see any good benefit coming from discussing it and all it does is cause arguments and strife when discussed so I stay clear of it.

I honestly don't like to talk about politics and won't pitch in much when people are talking about politics. However, if someone is saying something that is completed false and they are very misinformed I will speak up. I hate it when others just repeat what they hear someone else say without doing the research themselves.

Yes, I've always been interested in the latest political news. Especially if it concerns me e.g sales tax rising significantly or funds being wasted by the government, here in New Zealand. My mom and step dad who aren't as interested in politics would tell me I should be a politician ha ha ha. However, I'm far too honest to get involved in politics. Joking, well sort of there are decent politicians who are in it for the right reasons. When it comes to politics, although I love a healthy debate, I'd never make someone feel wrong. I'd just agree to disagree.

I actually love documentaries :) But I'm not a politics fan to be honest, because every time you open your mouth to talk about your beliefs someone else comes and defies your beliefs. Then a debate follows... no thanks! I'm too sick and tie for that, when I was younger I didn't mind, but now that I'm older I know it's really stupid to get into debates, since odds are you won't stop believing what you believe and the other person won't either.

I love watching documentaries, even those that involve politicians, as long as those documentaries aren't to technical, I like a human and not very professional approach mostly :p Like a documentary I watched about the poorest president in the world, hehehe!

Same here! I love crime documentaries and series, I like to see documentaries about people who committed big crimes, specially those in which they try to find an explanation. I find those amusing, because I can´t imagine why someone would harm other people, so many serial rapist and murders out there, some even dare harm kids. I will never understand why or how they can live with that.

Haha, my entire family loves to talk about politics. We talk about it day in day out and my dad wouldn't shut up about it. Politics is a very interesting topic and almost everyday there are news' about it.

@Trellum, there are just inherently evil people out there, some people just don't have a conscience. Like, it's not guaranteed that the close to you won't harm you right? So how much more other people, right?

@Daimashin, so I assume that you love politics too?

@sidney yup I do. We make it a family activity to sit around and talk about politics once in a while. It's great time to bond with one another. Otherwise, everyone will be off doing their thing and not talk to each other.

I don't really talk about politics at all and to be honest I have never voted either. Fortunatly where I am, voting is not a legal requirement.
