Pandora has too many adds and doesn't work too great for me. Does anyone know a good alternative to Pandora that I can listen to music on?

You can go to YouTube and Google Play to listen to music. The songs on Google Play will cost you $1 to listen to some songs.
I think you guys should go and take a look at them.

Playlist.com, Grooveshark, those are the two that pop into my head. I haven't used either of them in a while, though.

I second the Playlist.com idea. You can also try Myspace for listening to music, but I think with both you need to create playlists, unlike Pandora, which seems to let you listen to music based on your preferences. Myspace used to have ads with the music, but my sister told me that they don't any more.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm probably going to check out Playlist.com and if that doesn't work just stick with good old youtube and soundcloud haha. Yeah, Pandora is just annoying to me.

Do you have an account on Pandora? Not a premium membership, but just a regular account where you sign in. I found that the ads aren't too excessive, as long as you're signed in. Spotify is great, but they also have frequent ads. I prefer Spotify though, because they have so much music to choose from. I also enjoy Youtube, especially for watching music videos.

Probably LastFM or Grooveshark. You can also find streaming channels on Live365.com, which I believe used to be associated with Winamp back in the day.

I mainly listen to music on YouTube if I don't want to download it. It's getting increasingly annoying if it pauses to buffer. I might have to end up switching to something else soon, I guess I'll try playlist.com since it was suggested in this thread.

I mainly use Youtube for all my music needs but sometimes I will use Live365. Pandora blows.

For the longest time I just check out the VEVO channel of all my fave artists on Youtube if I want to be updated to their latest music. Now when I have the time I'll also check out the suggestions that were posted here.

I would have to say that www.YouTube.com is a great place to find entire albums to listen to. I like to look for 80s and 90s music on it. You can find it by artist and name of album in the search bar.

Youtube does the trick for me most of the time, but when I need to watch some anime... I use other web sites. Youtube is a great site to discover new artists and anime series tho ;) I really recommend it!

Youtube. Don't even think of anything else. It is so diverse and contains most of everything. Even my childhood ads and musicals I could find. So, try it out.

I use YouTube and RDIO.com. I love how I can just click on one of my favorite cd's and listen as much as I want for free. The site does act up sometimes but besides that it' s one of my favorites.

Spotify is actually becoming viral when it comes to listen to music.

Even though, I'm like most of you, searching for music on YouTube and using a MP3 online converting service to get just the songs in my computer.

I usually use this whenever I want something in the background. It's nice having something that picks the music for me!
