Just check this video out! I never thought cats could be this protective, to the point of ''attacking'' someone like this cat did in this video! A very funny video, I love how the white cat is all like: ''Man, stop it! You're going to get us kicked out from here! Stop it!''. Lol!

Following along the line of the post (sort of) a few years back in
a municipality just a bit north of Toronto, a one percenter Motorcycle Club had a lion guarding the clubhouse and property.
Authorities found out and the lion was taken and I think passed on
to some animal sanctuary or zoo. I never heard of any incidents
involving the lion. I guess that is sort of one up over a Rottweiler or a Doberman.
Guess that is a bit more extreme than the video.

That's interesting, Ryder! But... I wonder how those guys managed to get that lion??? Can't be that easy to find something like in Canada! Is there some kind of black market over there? No wonder they took the lion away :nailbiting: Those guys were lucky no charges were pressed on them. Is it legal to own animals like that as pets over there? I'm just curious :D

Haha that's cute and I love when cats stick up for their keepers. Haha cats are definitely loyal, maybe not as much as dogs but they are.

I really like cats:cat:, I have heard that they can be very protective. I'm guessing the girl was babysitting, and the cat didn't know her all that well, maybe? The cat seemed to say, "Don't come into my house breaking stuff, hunny."

I really like the music at the beginning of the video, I haven't heard that song in a while. I was getting all lulled into a fabulous sense of relaxation, thoroughly enjoying the music, and then the glass broke!

On a side note, I really like how high those ceilings are. Nice house:) (my inner Martha Stewart is coming out;)) .

Oh hell no, if I had a cat that was acting like that, I would pick it up and toss it out the front door and slam it shut.

Was that lady a babysitter or something? I'm guessing she wasn't part of the family with the cat acting like that.

Hahaha, yeah! That girl was just a babysitter, I think the cat felt kinda nervious when he heard the glass breaking, then he saw the baby crying. I think he really thought she was hurting him or was planning to. Kudos to the cat for covering that possibility and not taking any chances with that girl  I mean, I'm sure he was 100% sure he was doing the right thing, lol. In a way I think he did; it's great a cat is capable to display this kind of loyalty towards its family! Truly remarkable, I must say!

Yeah, that house has tall ceilings, there are so many things to look for when buying a new house ;) Martha has taught me so much :joyful::playful:

She was a babysitter. Actually, I'd not mind having a cat like that; he was displaying his loyalty to the family by trying to protect the baby. I'd love my cat to show that kind of interest in my family :cat:

Yes, maybe the cat did feel kind of nervous when he heard the glass break, but he sure didn't act nervous,
he walked up to the babysitter and got all ghetto gangsta on her:jimlad:, lunging at her:eek: and had the poor girl hopping around all over the place trying to get away from him. But it is good when an animal shows that kind of spunk. I like spunk:happy:.

This video make me laugh though, because years ago I was dating a guy from Turkmenistan, our relationship went from great to bad, but hey, that's life. One day we were debating dogs vs. cats. I like cats, but I've only had dogs for pets. Turkmenistan was telling me about how he had a cat that was very protective of him, telling me someone had tried to do something to him, but his cat was like, "Noooooo." He then proceeded to wag his finger all dramatically in a "no" motion, further showing me how the cat had acted super-protactive.

I was looking at that man, and his wagging finger, thinking to myself, "Now this is yet another reason why our relationship is going down the tubes, because you're friggin' nuts:sour::wacky:. Who the hell ever heard of an attack cat?":shifty:

And now, years later, I actually see a video of... an attack cat!! LOL:hilarious:

On another note, I want a house with high ceilings:woot:. I love Martha, she is so fabulous:).

You did it again! LOL! You made me laugh with your Turkemenistan story :p LOL, the wagging finger image was funny enough, lol! Up until now I hadn't even heard about an attacking cat, let alone see one in action, lol. :pompus: Your ex sounds like such a character, but I think most of the middle eastern men I've dated were :roflmao: LOL, I've noticed they like to gesture with their hands a lot, so do I  Was he very touchy? Specially when talking to you or other people? I've been told I tend to be a bit touchy!

By the way I was kidding about throwing the cat out, lol. What was really cracking me up in the video was the way it was swatting at her, it was very human like, lol.

Oh yeah, he was VERY touchy, :shifty::shifty:especially with a couple of my female neighbors, which is one of the reasons why we broke up:mad:. Ugh, he thought he was the bees knees, the cat's meow, all that and a bag of chips, ugh!!

I liked him well enough (a lot at first). He had dark skin, beautiful green eyes (and boy, did he know it, and wouldn't let you forget it either), he was funny, he liked to cook. We drank a lot of vodka together:D.

When we met, he only spoke Russian. I loved to listen to him talk:inlove: :inlove:. I was just starting to take Russian in school, so with the help of an English to Russian dictionary, lots of patience, and plenty of liquor:whistling:, we forged out a great friendship:thumbsup:, which turned into a crummy, horrible, painful relationship:thumbsdown:. I got over it though:thumbsup:.

Oh yeah, I hate guys like that! That kind of touchy guys give me a bad feeling. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience, was he a muslim? I'm guessing he was, but maybe not a very religious one, since you said you both liked to drink a lot vodka :D I'm a sephardic jew myself born and raised in Mexico, but so far I've only dated middle eastern men. My first boyfriend was kurdish, but he wasn't religious at all. Everything started well (kind of, lol, the guy was sooooo dramatic!), then everything went to hell :arghh: My second boyfriend was of arab origin, hehehe! :smug:

Arab origin?! Now you are talking my language girlfriend. I have a thing for Arab men:wacky:, I just can't help it. Maybe it's all that oil:whistling: :roflmao:.

Yeah, Turkmenistan put me through some drama, but don't worry, because I put him through some drama right back:mask: :). I don't think that he was very religious, unless lying is considered a religion, then yeah, he was totally religious:roflmao:.

Hey, you live you learn, right? Going through those bad experiences helped me to know what I want, and what I don't want in a man. I also learned to not be so naive when it comes to certain things. He lied alot, and I would believe him... until one day I didn't, but it took me awhile to figure him out.
It's "funny" because when we first got together, we talked about any and everything, especially since he was learning English, he wanted to talk about all manner of things so that he could practice speaking the English language.

In those talks early in our relationship, he would tell me the lies that he had told to other people, lies he told when he was caught cheating, lies he told when some woman's husband found him (Turk) in their (the husband and wife's) house with the husband's wife ("I'm here hanging curtains.")

I laughed, I thought they were funny stories, until months down the line I realized that he was telling me the same stories:nailbiting: . I thought that he had changed his ways, and was just telling me stories of how he used to be. But what he was really doing is telling me how he was at that present time.

Sephardic Jew, born and raised in Mexico? I'm gonna have to Google that one girlfriend because you have thrown me for a loop! Born and raised in Mexico, but only dated middle eastern men, sooo, you're saying that Mexico has a large population of middle eastern men? Excuse my ignorance because I really don't know:sorry:.

I've noticed that a lot of men have that drama thing going on. Soo dramatic, like you said. I really like a man who is laid back and quiet. A quiet man holds a special place in my heart:inlove:, to be sure. But they are hard to come by, very rare.

Woah, I have been with guys who lie a lot, and let me tell you that everytime I hear a story like yours it really reminds me of my own! I dated a kurdish guy for some years while I was living abroad, he made me waste so many years of my life... making me believe our relationships was going somewhere, when he clearly knew this was going to end soon (he dumped me for another woman who was older than me - I was 22, he was 32). I still feel sorry for having wasted all those years on him, I hope you didn't waste a lot time with that guy.

Some years after that I met a guy at el paso (texas), I live very close to the border... so we'd see each other almost every weekend. Well, the guy was iraqi (one of the many immigrants that worked for the US during the Iraq war). He at first told me he was free to do what he wanted, and that his family wasn't controlling me; LIES! Long story short, I ended the relationship because he told me he wanted to keep me a secret from his family :stop: It took me a while to fully accept this... and realize I had to leave him. So in the end I did... so I only wasted 1 year with him :coffee:

Yes, there are a lot middle eastern people in Mexico. Actually ''Carlos Slim'' is 100% libanese. We also have a large sephardic and ashkenazi population, the ashkenazi jews live mostly in Mexico city, but you can find them almost anywhere... anywhere with a synagogue and a mikvah :cat:

My guy is actually laid-back and quiet :) This is the first guy I ever met that is like that, and he happens to be introverted as well  Just like I am!!1 We'll see how it goes tho, wish me luck  By the way, he's not middle eastern; I've learnt my lesson :inlove:

This is such an amusing video, my cat is like that, but the difference is he attacks me when he gets annoyed. He does stop when I raise my voice. He is the first cat that I owned who would bite or scratch me when he gets annoyed.

LOL, oh my!!! He attacks you like that?! :nailbiting: How does he get annoyed? I mean, what could you be doing for that cat to get so annoyed? or he just attacks you out of frustration if you stop him from doing something he really wants to do? Like for example give your sandwich a bite?

There are cats that are "violent", but my cat is not as persistent like the cat in the video, lol. Some cats get annoyed when you overpet them, like my cat. And I read that Scorpio cats are the ones that tend to do that. Guess what? My cat is a Scorpio, lol. Until I got him as a pet, I was never aware that cats can get annoyed when overpetted.
