That is a great quality. I have never been to Thailand. I wish I could go. But money is a bit of an issue.
I do like what you are saying about making it home. Glad it works for you.

Thanks for the comment. I know what you mean about money being tight. It is less expensive living here but even here some of the prices have gone up. The poor world economy has everyone a bit out of sorts. If you ever do get over here be sure to let me know.

Yeah the world economy. The corporations benefit, the political parties sold out the people to the corporations and the corporate sector and the haves benefit, the people not so much. The poor world economy, the poor U.S.
economy the poor Canadian and British economy. What the hell happened? Corporate power and the millionaire sector took over.
    Anyway thanks for the invite.

I have often thought of visiting Thailand. I hear that the American dollar goes pretty far there. Is that really the case?

That is absolutely the case. I am on a fixed retirement income and if I am careful I can live a pretty good life here. If I was in my country I assure you that would not be the case. Everything from food to almost anything you can think of is less expensive. I might caution though that even here some prices have inflated a bit. Even at that things are still less expensive than they are in the western world.

What happened to "Trickle Down Econonics"? It apparently got blocked up on the way down because it sure hasn't reached the middle class while the wealthy continue to keep geting that way on the backs of everyday people by not paying their "FARE SHARE" in taxes due to the loopholes they enjoy.
