I'm rocking the Motorola Droid Bionic. It's not a bad phone, but I'm anxiously waiting for the ICS update which seems like it will never arrive.

I have a BlackBerry...While I do love it because of the keyboard/size/colour, I am not entirely sure I will be getting the same brand next time...I'm not sold on an iPhone and I've had bad experiences with Android phones, but a lot of my BBM contacts have since moved on to other phones...I would like something with a decent camera/video for taking pictures on the spot...this camera is horrible. I may wait to see what the new BlackBerry looks like/costs, but I have limited patience and I am liking the RAZR that my son just got...I also don't see a big attraction in BBM...I communicate with lots of other non BB users via texting, seems to work just fine...LOL! I don't care if I can tell who reads my message or not...:p

I'm glad you're not buying into the hype Chella. A lot of people are blind and will buy anything Apple. If Apple sold a stick called the iStick where it was a tree limb, people would rush out to buy it just because it says Apple on it.

Have you taken a look at the new Windows Phone 8 phones that are coming out at the end of this month? Don't discount them either. You can go into almost any store that sells mobile phones and try them out. You'll be surprised at how much you like it.

I have mentioned before that I am no fan of Android phones but I don't feel you should judge Android phones based on your old phone. Your old phone was a midrange phone at best, if that. I remember trying to talk you out of it.

Also don't judge BB cameras based on your low end Blackberry.

Tasha loves her iphone (she has had 2 or 3 of them and a ipod) but the phone isn't for me.

I agree wit pilot2fly about checking out the Windows phone as well. Its best to see what is out there.

For me you know I'm staying with Blackberry unless something changes my mind in the next 4-8 months. For me I wouldn't decide yet with a new phone coming out but in the end you need to get the phone that you like.

As far as your BBM contacts go, I'm on that list so that is all that matters. :p My list has been growing. I guess you just need better friends. LOL.

Also if you want top features then stop looking in the bargain bin for free phones.

I have Nokia C7 at the time. It has became pretty slow and old, so I guess I have to let it go and buy an Galaxy S2 or S3. I dont recommend to buy Nokia's old phones, as they have old operating system and low specifications.

I have a Nokia N6780. Has music of music, FM radio, TV, internet, sms and other stuff that I rarely use. What is cool here in Thailand is that there is no charge for incoming calls or sms. No plans with high payments. We buy minutes at convenient stores when we run low. Cost about 6 cents a call or sms message.

I have two cell phones. I have a "Nokia" basic cellphone and an "Apple" want to be clone that serves the purpose very well at half the cost. The reason I have two phones is I live in Thailand and my daughter lives in America. One phone is dedicated to her calls only and it serves as a backup in case one is lost, stolen or inoperative. "BE PREPARED" is my motto.

I wonder why some people are still so addicted to Apple, even if it was already revealed that Samsung makes the screens of their iPad. The revelation just goes to show that the iPad that they oh, so love is a hybrid of 2 brands, lol.

@ chella, if you're looking for a cheap phone that has superb sound and camera quality, then you can't go wrong with Sony Ericsson. Even their entry level phones have good clarity, even if it's only VGA or 1.3 megapixel. Just try comparing SE taken photos to a Nokia or Samsung unit and you'll easily see the difference.

I use an HTC Sense phone. I liked my iPhone better, but AT&T is an evil company. I got my HTC through Credo Mobile. These guys are great! They will buy out your contract to change over. Plus, you get a free phone if you sign up for a two-year contract.

The next phone that I want to try out is an HTC one. I'm curious to know if it's a good phone, since I haven't tinkered with an HTC unit yet.

Why bother with a contract? I pay as I go and it is less expensive than having a contract. I went that route when I first stareted using celphones way back when.

I just got the iphone 5 a couple of days ago and I love it. This iphone has really surprised me. Even though it's slim than the previous ones it's a lot easier to type on it.

I never could find an affordable pay as you go in the States. Always a contract deal and back then we had to pay for incoming sms ~ even advertising! We can pay as we go here in Thailand because it is a great system...about 6 cents to call and the same for outgoins sms. And incoming 100% free!

I haven't checked the plans for pay as you go recently but they seemed to be more expensive for the type of usage I was looking at. Another issue is the selection for phones can be limited. It is a good option for some.

6 cents per minute? What about data?

With calls and text I would have spent $55 this month at those rates and that doesn't include data. Right now I spend $80 with the data.

Nope...6 cents until you get tired of talking! If you mean by data, internet, tv etc. I am not sure....about the internet but tv is free.

Wow. They don't have that here. Yeah by data I mean internet. That is my life. LOL. Without the internet in my hands at all times I'm lost.
