Sooo, you think I'm funny? Well, now that you mention it, I must say that I have been told many times by throngs of people from all walks of life that I have quite the sense of humor (she said oozing with humility, in her best British accent):joyful::hilarious::roflmao:.
I think you are funny too!! Gearhead Central is lucky to have us (she said, again oozing with humility:))

No, I can't say that I like the texture of cheese pie. Just talking about it is making me itch, actuallyo_Oo_O.

I mean, I can do one or two bites, but after that I'm done. I need texture. Nuts, grains, something with some crunch to it. I like apple pie, but I don't like the gooey stuff that surrounds the apples in the pie:yuck:. Same thing with cherry pie, which is delicious, but that coating that surrounds the cherries:nailbiting:, no thank you:stop::stop:.

Mince pie is a pie that has apples, raisins, and some other stuff in it. I have an old cookbook that my mom gave to me, and it has a recipe for Mince meat pie, back then, that pie had beef and all kinds of other stuff in it. I want to make one of those old-fashioned Mincemeat pies one day, but for now I just buy the Mince pies from the grocery store.

And quiche, oh talk dirty to me:hungry:. I adore that stuff. Spinach and egg quiche is bordering on being obscene:eek:.

Sorry to hear about your gallbladder situation. But you seem to be in good spirits, which is great:thumbsup::thumbsup:. Attitude can make or break you.

Well, thank you :joyful: I felt flattered when I first read that :D I like to be as optimistic and joyful as possible, you can add to that ''open'' and friendly. There are plenty of people who are closed and mean already, so why add to their numbers? :roflmao: Hahaha... I'm just like that. I can tell you're not just funny, but also extremely open and friendly as well :whistling: That being said, YES, I do believe they're lucky to have us :D

Btw... when you said mince pie I thought of the meat one, lol. Then I thought... ''uhmm british?''. A friend of mine who also happens to be british, loves to eat meat pies with gravy, LOL. I've never tried, but I must confess the idea is really intriguing :hungry:

Ahh... it's ok. The ole gallbladder might be gone, but the liver is still there doing its job ;) Ow lol... I just noticed that rhymes a bit :joyful:

LOL, I wait until it's saturday to do that, and so far this has helped me to speed up my metabolism :D I don't think it'd work that way if I did that every day, unless I had a super fast metabolism - which I don't :p You're so lucky!

That's very easy :D Some herbs go better with fish and meat... and others go very well with rices and soups! Once you get the hang of that, you can practically cook everything you want, the way you want it. But to be honest it's not such a big deal... I don't use that many herbs, and still many of the things I prepare are said to taste delicious :D I use the right amount of salt, but I think I'd be able to cook with less salt if I used more herbs :p I'm too lazy for right now :cat:

No. I eat pretty crappy to be honest. I just like snack foods and not that there is too much wrong with that, but I definitely think that I should be eating healthier but it can be hard sometimes to start.

I hear ya! Eating healthy is not the easiest task, specially if you're the person in charge to cook those ''healthy'' meals, which is even harder if the rest of the family don't feel like sharing your sudden enthusiasm for a healthy lifestyle :dead: I know because I've been there :arghh:

I can say that I don't have a healthy eating habits because I just eat without thinking of what am I getting with all these food. I am looking forward really to start eating healthy since it will greatly help my body to receive essential nutrients that we need. It's not easy for me to start eating healthy since I am used to food that aren't good in our body but I need too as I need it to stay away from any kind of ailments as well.

No, I am not British, but I was using my pretend British accent to talk about how humble I am:roflmao:, certain things sound nice when one does them in a British accent, don't you think? No, if you read some of my previous posts, you will see that I am of the ethnic peoples:blackalien::thumbsup:.

You are right, there are a lot of mean people out there, but such is the world today. It is a sign of the times. I am definitely a friendly person, but I have my days where I can be mean, but most of the time I am only mean if someone deserves it:roflmao:. If someone deserves to be treated mean, then I let them have it!!

I have learned the hard way that one can't be friendly and nice to everyone, some people just don't deserve to be treated nicely. That's like a teacher giving A's to her students who have earned an F.

I like your attitude about the gallbladder situation. I know some people who fall apart when they have a cold:arghh:.

I guess the gallbladder being gone is better than the liver being gone, yes? I have a friend of mine who is having liver problems and having to go through dialysis. He is young too, only 33 or 34 years old, something like that.

For me healthy eating doesn't mean much. As long as I avoid food that can be potentially bad for my health then I eat whatever I please, including junk food because the work that I do burns up a lot of calories. Staying fit therefore is never a question of avoiding certain kinds of food.

For the last year I have been eating healthy. I have lost a lot of weight and still got a good amount to lose. I rarely ever eat any junk. That means no chips, candy, soda, ice cream, treats, nothing. What I eat daily is meat/rice/veggies or meat/potato/veggies. Eating healthy is great but exercise is a must too don't forget that. Even if you don't need to lose weight exercise is good for you to stay healthy. I feel so much better this year then how I felt last year!

Ow, lol! My bad :p Yeah, I actually happen to love british accent. I just love the way it sounds, my friend's accent is specially nice :p He's a good guy! I can't understand why he's still alone!

Yeah, some people don't deserve to be treated nicely, but I always give them the benefit of the doubt ;) I try to do that most of the time, if they prove me wrong, then I just ignore them :shy: Some people don't like that about my personality... it's just I can't fake things! When I'm upset I just can't hide it... it shows! I can't pretend I like someone who is mean or who talks bad about me behind my back. I just can't :arghh: I just had my first argument with my boyfriend :( Again... because I can't pretend well... :(

Yeah, eating healthy is one of the best decisions one can make :) At first it's really hard, but after a while you get used to it :) You just need to start little by little, baby steps! Like for example... eating more fruit, after that you can start preparing things with more vegetables for example.

Staying fit is a different topic that is separated from ''staying healthy''. I know a lot people who look fit, but their health in general is not very good. Specially a lot skinny girls I know who don't eat enough, they look very good outside, but their health in general is bad (some of them feel dizy or light headed sometimes). I think those 2 concepts are very different from each other. I eat healthy not only to be fit, but also to have a good health :)

I loved your post :) I couldn't agree with you even more! Exercise is something we all need, doesn't matter how skinny or fit we think we are. My doctor explained me this... I suffer from PCOS and insuline resistance, that means I must stay active and get rid of any exceding belly fat :p I'm so happy for you :) Please keep it up!! Don't stop until you reach your goal, and once you get there... don't forget your healthy habits :)

I like the British accent too... and the men aren't so bad either:whistling::whistling:. I have not known many people personally who have that type of accent, but when I hear certain types of accents, I am all over them. Australian accents, Irish, British... umm, yummy:hungry:.

It is good that you cannot fake things. I went through years of my life pretending that I liked people that I really didn't, laughing with people who were clearly two-faced. It's just that sometimes it was so hard for me to realize:banghead: :banghead: that people could be such jerks. I had to learn that everyone who pretends to be nice, isn't really nice.

I think that it is imperative to be "real." If you are mad, then hey, it is what it is. That's life.

I will ignore people too, and people don't like that about me either:joyful:, but I don't care:roflmao:. If someone proves to me that they are not worth my time, I just keep it moving, but I had to learn to be like that.

You are supposed to argue with your boyfriend, that is natural:thumbsup:. Better to argue than to pretend:thumbsdown: like everything is fine. Of course there is a time and a place for everything, but being phony about stuff is definitely not the answer.

I've begun to eat healthier by adding more fruit and vegetables to my diet. It's still really hard to keep myself away from things like cookies and potato chips though.

reply: I have a high lean protein ,low carb diet. I stay away from sugar, fried, and processed foods. I also walk over 40,000 steps a day at my job in which I work four days a week at. That seems to keep myself very healthy and energetic for my age. You need to stay away from sugar and process foods and you will lose weight. Go with whole grain meals and foods that are low in carbs.

You're right :roflmao: Reading your comment made me feel so much better about the ''fight'' I had with my boyfriend. But you know what's the saddest part? The fact neither of us did something wrong. He tried to do something very nice for me, but it didn't turn out the way it should have! To be honest the whole idea was such a mess since the start... wish he had told me about it (before going for it and doing it). Gosh, don't you hate when things like that happen? I feel a bit guilty :joyful: but oh well...!

It's great you learnt to be that way :) Some people never learn, you know? I know 40 year olds who behave like children and are immature as heck :roflmao: I know sooo many women who are old enough to know they're making a huge mistake (staying with a guy who humiliates them and treat them bad!) but they decide to keep it this way, because (in their own words) they're so afraid to be alone. Pffff! I used to be like that some years ago... I fought so hard for relationships and people who weren't worth it, until I got tired  I'm no longer afraid to be alone :) If for some reason I end up single again, I'll feel a bit down for a couple of days, but that's it :jimlad: No more drama for this chick! LOL!

I'm already losing 2 pounds a week :D I indulge myself every saturday with a ''cheat meal'', and the rest of the week my diet is a very low fat/carb one. Zero sugar, the only sugar I consume is the one from the fruits I'm eating. I drink plain water everyday & don't drink coffee in the morning :cat:

Sounds like you have a really nice diet over there :) Did you get some kind of help from a dietician or a nutrition expert?
